Services
They provide medical and aesthetic services, to not only make you feel good but to look your best!
Aesthetics
Dr Asmal, having trained under some of the best dermatologists and aestheticians in South Africa, has been doing facial fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and rejuvenating medical facial peels for the last 10 years. These treatments have little or no downtime and the aim is for a very natural pleasing result. Make an appointment on 031 201 0976 for a comprehensive facial assessment, at a cost of R350 which is refunded with your first treatment.
Medical services
Their approach is a holistic one – they look at the whole person, and how the patient’s circumstances and environment impacts on the problem.
The doctors place emphasis on preventative health care and screening for illness so that it can be treated early. They look at alternatives to the over-usage of antibiotics. Appropriate antibiotic use avoids unnecessary side effects and resistance (when antibiotics stop working).
They offer you a complimentary consultation within one week of your first visit if needed, where you may be prescribed further medication if necessary.
Annual Medical Checkup
This is a periodic holistic assessment that looks at physical and psychological health. It aims to improve, or maintain good health. The doctor may recommend blood tests if needed. Set yourself an annual reminder to book your medical examination with their Musgrave practice.
People with chronic diseases may need to be assessed six-monthly or more frequently.

Men’s health
For the men in your life
Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. Men are dying too young. Across the world, men die an average of six years younger than women, and for reasons that are largely preventable. It doesn’t have to be that way – we can all take action to live healthier, happier and longer lives.
Top five things for your man to know and do
- Make Man Time – stay connected; your friends are important and spending time with them is good for you. Catch up regularly, check in and make time.
- Have Open Conversations – you don’t need to be an expert and you don’t have to be the sole solution, but being there for someone, listening and giving your time can be life-saving. It’s about being supported and being supportive.
- Know the Numbers – at 50, talk to your doctor about prostate cancer and whether it’s right for you to have a PSA test. If you are black or have a father or brother with prostate cancer, you should be having this conversation at 45. Know your numbers, know your risk and talk to your doctor.
- Know Thy Nuts – get to know what’s normal for your testicles. Give them a check regularly and go to the doctor if something doesn’t feel right.
- Move More – add more activity to your day. Do what you enjoy.
Suggest to him an appointment with our male doctor, Dr Moorad if he feels more comfortable for sexual or male related problems.
