The holidays are almost here, along with sunshine (we hope) and great days for testing yourself on the trails. Whether you’re after a challenge or a fun day out with the family, there’s something for you!
Durban Multisport Series – 2 December
This exciting multisport series races athletes across beautiful Durban’s Golden Mile. With full road closures in place, this event is safe and exciting. Open to competitors from 8 years upwards, this is an event for the whole family.
There are 4 events to compete in on race day: Rookie Triathlon (200m Swim / 5km Cycle / 1.25km Run) or the Sprint Triathlon (600m Swim / 20km Cycle / 5km Run) or the Sprint Duathlon (5km Run / 20km Cycle / 2.5km Run) or the longer Olympic triathlon (1.5km Swim / 40km Cycle / 10km Run).

Dube Dirt Challenge – 16 December
Entries are open for Dube Dirt Challenge, the last MTB and Trail Running event of the year.
Mountain biking:
MTB races on offer are: 20km MTB / 45km MTB. There will be a free Kiddies Village and a free Toddler 1.5km Tour around Dube City. The routes are fast-flowing and will consist of jeep track, district roads and sugar cane paths.
The 45km MTB race starts at 7:30am, with the 20km race starting at 7:50am.
Trail Running:
Trail running races on offer are: 7km Trail Run / 15km Trail run. There will be a free Kiddies Village and a free Toddler 1.5km Tour around Dube City. The trail run routes will consist of jeep track, district roads, sugar cane paths and some single track.
The 15km Trail Run starts at 6am, with the 7km race starting at 6:20am.
