November 8, 2011. The day kicked off with messages on social media about the blistering heat expected today (38C in PMB among other indicators) and I can confirm that by 8.30am there was some serious heat out on the road. Even with aircon in the office I’m sweating at midday.
Attended meetings in Kloof and Umhlanga and, yes, it’s a rough one out there.
It’s one of those days where the heat can melt the tarmac and serious health issues arrive.
